A Double Message from Spirit I Couldn't Miss!
This week, I want to extend a hopeful message to anyone having a rough time right now. If you’re struggling or needing a reminder that you’re not alone, read on.
As I often do early on a Sunday morning, I went for a stroll along the Gulf Coast to enjoy the sound of the surf, the salt air, and the beautiful turquoise water. This time of year, the Gulf is very warm, very calm, and very inviting. I love to go in and float on my back, letting the water support me and carry away my troubles.
When I stepped out of the waves and stood on the shoreline to do a bit of Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine, something caught my eye. A single white feather, drifting in the water right by my feet. Yes, most likely a snowy egret or a white ibis shed that feather—but to me, white feathers are winks from my guardian angels, reminding me of their presence. And it gave me comfort.
But Spirit wasn’t done yet.
Later that day, a friend graciously offered to give me a Reiki treatment in his home. We have done many Family Constellations sessions together, but I had never experienced his Reiki healing. Before we began, he invited me to draw three Oracle cards from a deck he’d just started using. I had no idea what the deck was, but I’m always open to receiving messages from Spirit in whatever form they arrive.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I picked the first card—on it was a white feather! It was the Guardian Angel card and its message: You are not alone.
Hours after receiving the feather message in 3D at the beach, Spirit found another way to deliver it—through an image on a card, through my friend, through this card deck I had never seen before. I guess the angels wanted to make sure I didn't miss this message! I'm grateful because feeling their presence helped me navigate the week ahead.
By the way, the deck was Angels and Ancestors by Kyle Gray, and the other two cards were very significant too. Seems like my friend picked the perfect deck given our work with ancestors and my love of angels.
I’ve learned that loving, comforting messages are never just for me. So if you’re in the middle of something difficult—grief, confusion, fear, doubt—may you feel the warmth of that message wrapping around you now, reminding you that: You are not alone.
In over 12 years of guiding Family Constellations, I have witnessed again and again how our ancestors are behind us, cheering us on to live happy, healthy lives in their honor. And I believe our guardian angels are doing the same—whispering encouragement, guiding us gently, while offering their love and wisdom. We truly are never alone.
