THE SPIRITUAL PROFESSIONAL CODE OF HONOR

The professional code of ethics for spiritual professionals and healers is as follows:

I, John Harold Moore, certify that as a professional spiritual practitioner, I proudly honor the code of ethical principles as set forth below on behalf of all clients, personnel, and professionals with whom I work:

18 and Older

John proudly offers a selection of hundreds of free articles, resources, and other informational materials for spiritual seekers of all ages and income levels across the web. However, personal consultations and paid materials are available only to those who are of legal age without parental consent. This policy exists for both legal protection and to honor and respect parental boundaries.

Confidentiality

A client’s trust is highly valued, and everything shared within the client-practitioner relationship is kept strictly confidential. Confidential information will only be disclosed with the client’s consent or when there is a real and imminent threat of harm to the client or others, and such disclosure is necessary to prevent that harm.

Respect for Rights

I respect the rights and preferences of my clients, students, and spiritual colleagues. I recognize each person’s right to accept or refuse services on their own terms and will never impose a reading, message, opinion, or lifestyle on anyone.

Do No Harm

I understand that my abilities are gifts from Spirit, intended to serve the highest good of all involved. My work is devoted to healing, helping, and supporting others. I strive to use my gifts responsibly, ethically, and only for the benefit of those I serve and the greater good.

Commitment

I offer my clients and colleagues integrity, clarity, and respect. I provide services only when I am able to do so as a clear and unbiased practitioner. I represent only what I have personally experienced, verified, or come to understand through my professional practice and training.

Colleagues

A spiritual professional supports and respects fellow colleagues, treating them as they would wish to be treated. When appropriate, I communicate with other professionals involved in supporting the same individual to ensure continuity of care.

Volunteer Service

I strive to give back by offering an average of 100 hours per year in volunteer service, including education, grief support, and spiritual guidance.

Musings and Teachings

I certify that my teachings and shared works are original and arise from authentic life experience, insight, and professional practice. When ideas or materials are derived from other sources, proper credit and acknowledgment are given.

Providing Services

I offer only those services that I believe will genuinely support the highest good of the client, student, or colleague. Services will not be offered if they are not in the client’s best interest. When a situation falls outside my scope, I will refer the individual to a trusted professional.
