An Immediate Return on My Investment

Something very amusing happened just a few hours after last week’s blog was posted. If you had a chance to read it, you know I gave a nod of gratitude to my 3 years in Houston as the first anniversary of my return to Florida approaches. Family Constellations have taught me the importance of honoring the past so we can freely move forward with love. 

As I started across a long bridge on my morning walk, I noticed an older gentleman walking toward me from the other side. As he got closer, I got the sense that he was trying to get my attention for some reason. When we finally passed each other, he looked right at me and grabbed the brim of his baseball cap to give me a nod and a wave. It wasn’t until that moment that I recognized the large white “H” over a bright orange star on the front of his cap…the Houston Astros logo. The synchronicity was not lost on me that Houston gave me a nod and a wave back on the same day I fondly wrote about it (and included a photo from Minute Maid Park where the Astros play!)

You might consider that a coincidence, but I prefer to look at events like these as signs that the Universe is paying attention to my choices. In my experience, life is a lot more fun that way!
